Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2015 Ford Explorer
Question:
Will this harness or a comparable harness work in my vehicle? Love the fact that you dont have to splice anything. Thanks

Expert Reply:
If your 2015 Ford Explorer has the tow package I have a trailer wiring option for you that won't require any splicing, but the # HM56001 would not be the correct kit. Instead you would want the # C56172.
If you don't have the tow package you will need to splice your taillight wiring to install the correct kit. For that you would want the part # C59496.
