Diameter of the Rear Sway Bar by Roadmaster part # 1139-144
Question:
In looking at your Roadmaster Rear Stabilizer 1139-144 for my 2011 Georgetown 37 ft., and I noticed you list the diameter for the bar as 1 3/8. From my research on the Roadmaster website, shouldnt the dimension be 1 3/4? That would make a huge difference in the strength. Additionally, would I need the added expense on this RV of the longer u-bolts? Buy you guys when I can. This looks like a do-it-yourself project I could handle! Thanks,

The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # 1139-144 that you referenced is a 1-3/4 inch thick anti-sway bar. I confirmed this with Roadmaster.
To determine if you will need the u-bolt kit # RM-590050-00 you will need to check out the current u-bolts your rear suspension is using. Basically if the u-bolt has enough threads above the nut to accommodate an additional 1/2 inch thick plate being attached to it you would not need the kit. If there's not enough threads on the u-bolt to accommodate an additional 1/2 inch plate then you will need the U-bolt kit.
