Do Boat Roller Bunks Require Lubrication

Hello, What is the best product to lubricate the roller on your Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Parts - DL21741 Thanks

I spoke to one of the engineers at Dutton Lainson and he informed me that they do not recommend lubricating the rollers of any of their roller bunks like the # DL21741 that you referenced.
Not only is it not necessary, but it would end up just making a big mess on the boat.
