Yes, out of all the trunk mount bike racks we carry I do recommend the Thule OutWay # TH56BV, for your 2016 Audi A8.

I have an older version of this rack and it is by far the easiest trunk mount rack I have ever used. What makes it so easy are the 2 retractable cables it uses to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other carriers.

The excess cable stores inside the carrier so there are no loose ends flapping around. The cables are also more durable compared to the straps. And the access to the cable mechanism can be locked to deter theft of the rack.

The Raceway also features a built-in cable lock to deter bike theft. . And the arms can move independently in and out, up and down to fit a wide variety of bikes. I have included a link to a video review of this OutWay line for you.
