How to Carry Bikes or Cargo on a 2015 Volkswagen e-Golf

Is there a hitch for the 2015 e-Golf? Do the hitches for the gas Golfs fit the e-Golf?

The trailer hitches available for the 2015 Volkswagen Golf currently only fit gas or diesel models but not the e-Golf. I am also willing to wager that VW says not to put a hitch on it, similar to the prohibitive warnings from Toyota regarding the Prius.

If you happen to want a hitch to carry bikes or cargo then I recommend going with a trunk mount bike rack for bikes or a roof rack for cargo. I have included links to the trunk mount bike rack and roof rack main pages for the 2015 Golf for you.
