Which Brake Controller is Best for a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab 4x4

Hello, I would just like your opinion on which would be the best brake controller for my truck. I have a 2001 Chevrolet 2500 crew cab 4x44. I haul cattle and move tractors from field to field with a trailer.

I would recommend a proportional type controller, such as the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 and the wiring adapter # 3025-P. It is simple to install and easy to use, and is the most popular brake controller we sell. Wiring adapter is a custom fit wiring harness that will allow you to plug the brake controller into your factory brake controller port underneath the dash. As long as your 7-Way is factory installed, the whole set up will be plug and play.
