Flat Towing Component Recommendations for 2015 Chevrolet Equinox and 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus

I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox that I want to tow behind a 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus. What tow bar, baseplate setup can you recommend for the 2015 Equinox? any help is appreciated.

My recommendation for base plates for your 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is the Blue Ox # BX1689 since this set-up features twist-lock draw bars that secure without pins, which can get lost. I have linked for you the written installation instructions and also a video showing an application in a 2014 Equinox.
A fully-compatible and popular tow bar for use with these plates is the Blue Ox Alpha, part # BX7380, which is a motor home-mount tow bar that includes the required safety cables. This spares that extra expense.
You'll also need a wiring/lighting kit. There are several types and their complexity varies considerably, from simple magnetic light kits like Optronics # TLL21RK to diode wiring kits like the Roadmaster # RM-154. These and other options are shown on the provided link. For most folks the magnetic kits are a good choice since they require no cutting or splicing of wires and take only minutes to install.
You also need a supplemental braking system to operate the brakes on the towed vehicle. The linked article explains the varieties offered. I suggest the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400 (so long as your car does not have adjustable pedals and the active power assist braking system. You also need Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751439 and 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332.
