Curt Hitch Recommendation for a 1996 Chevy Tahoe

my tahoe does not have a back bumper it has a rollpan will hitch still fit i was told i needed a back bumper

The Curt Hitch part # C13029 has been confirmed as a fit for your 1996 Chevy Tahoe, there isn't any fit info available as to whether or not it will also fit vehicles with roll pan bumpers.
The best solution I can give you would be to check out the install instructions I attached to see how it installs as well as check out the install video that shows how a similar hitch installs on a similar vehicle. The hitch is designed to sit right underneath the bottom of the factory bumper. If your roll pan extends down below where the factory bumper sits it wouldn't fit most likely, or it would need to modified.
