7-Way Trailer Connector for a Truck that has a 4-Way Flat Connector

Question:

Need to tow tear trailer with a pickup that has a 4-way flat plug. The trailer has a 6-way round FLAT pin plug. We will not need the electric brake or power leads, only brake lights and signals. I will install the ground wire. Cant find 6-way round FLAT pin adapter.

Are you sure it is a 6-Way and not a 7-Way blade style such as # 37185? The center counts as a pin. I have not heard of a 6-Way blade style connector, not to say that it doesn't exist but I haven't seen one myself.

There might also be a way to add a 7-Way to the truck without having to cut or splice anything. If you can tell me the year, make, and model of the truck I can determine if there is a 7-Way that will work other than a hardwire option.
