How To Get VIN For 8 X 20 Trailer
Question:
I cannot locate vin number on my 8x20 food trailer and the manufacturer is out of business I have written to state and received notification that they were out of business.what do I do now to receive a vin number,so I can have it registered?I have the vin number on the trailers paperwork.but obviously thru the years the tag has fallen off and no where is it stamped on trailer.

It sounds like you have done the things necessary to get the VIN for your 8 X 20 trailer. Normally the VIN is located inside one of the frame rails near the front of the trailer.
I recommend taking the paperwork to the local state license office and ask what is needed. They may have you take the trailer to a highway patrol facility so it can be inspected and assigned a new VIN.
