Can you use a Sidewinder on a fifth wheel trailer and then tow that trailer with a 2007 1500 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with a 51/2ft box?

The Sidewinder was designed with the short bed pickups in mind so yes, your 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5-1/2' bed can tow a fifth wheel trailer equipped with a Sidewinder. Using a Sidewinder moves the pivot point on the fifth wheel trailer 22" further back on the truck which creates much more space in between the truck cab and trailer on sharp turns.

This is typically located on a sticker or stamping on the OEM pinbox.
