Recommendation for Towing a Trailer with 4-Way with a 2013 Toyota Tundra with 7-Way
Question:
My 2013 toyota truck has a 7 blade round trailer light socket. I have a 4 pin round for my trailer lights. Do you have an adapter that goes from 7 blade round that I could plug in my 4 pin round? Or maybe I could cut the wire off the 4 pin and solder those wires to a 7 blade round for the trucks outlet. Do they make a 7 blade round I could do that to? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2013 Toyota Tundra I would recommend you replace your current 7-way with a part # HM11143395.
This will plug into the factory wiring of your truck and will give you both a 7-way and a 4-way trailer wiring connector at the rear of your vehicle so that you could tow a trailer with either style connector. I attached an install video for this product for you to check out as well.
