What Part of Trailer Frame Needs to Be Clear to Install Pro Series Weight Distribution # PS4990
Question:
I have a 2007 starcraft centennial 3606 popup and am looking at the wd hitch. I want to figure out if the chain hangers will mount to the A frame ok without the propane or battery mount interfering. Can you tell me what the distance is from the center of the ball to the center of the hanger plate and the length of the hanger plate? With that, I should be able to figure out if there is an interference or not. Thanks.

For the Pro Series Weight Distribution System part # PS49901 the chain hanger will sit 33 inches from the center of the ball hole to the back of the bracket that sits on the frame. The bracket measures 5-1/2 inches in width.
So you will need the area on your trailer frame clear of obstructions from 27-1/2 inches to 33 inches from the center of the ball hole.
Otherwise you will need the bolt on chain hangers part # RP58305 that bolt to the sides of the trailer frame and don't require clearance on top of the trailer frame.
