Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Recommendation to Convert Trailer from Air over Hydraulic brakes

Question:

I have a MKT85 Kitchen on a M103a1 trailer 1.5 ton. I need to convert the air/hydrolic brakes to electric / hydrolic. I will be towing it with a 2013 Ram 1500 Hemi. What system would you recommend for the conversion? Thank you.

I really like the Hydrastar systems like the part # HBA-10 that you referenced. This would be the actuator I would recommend if your trailer has drum brakes. If you instead have disc brakes you would want the # HBA16 instead.

You will also need a brake controller compatible with an electric over hydraulic system installed in your 2013 Ram 1500. For that I would recommend the P2 # 90885 and then to install it in your truck all you would need is the # 3023-P.
