Will Draw-Tite Winch Mounting Plate Work With Warn Winch

Question:

I have a Warn M8174-50 winch with no mounting plate. I want to mount it to a 2inch trailer hitch. Will your part BDW20011 work for this and is there anything else I would need for the mounting. Thank you.

The Bulldog Winch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate # BDW20011 is designed to fit many different makes and models of winches with Warn being one of them.

From my research I found that the mounting dimensions for the M8174-50 were 10 inches x 4-1/2 inches which is exactly what the # BDW20011 has. The # BDW20011 should work well for you. The mounting hardware is not included with the winch mount.

You may want a locking hitch pin like part # e98880, that will help deter theft.
