Is Express Surf Strap Designed to Carry Two Paddleboards

Question:

If I am carrying two paddleboards stacked, I am unsure if one strap will make it all the way around both boards? If one cant is there a safe way to connect two straps together without damaging the boards? not sure if you have dealt with this before?

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she said that even though the Express Surf Strap would be long enough to secure two paddleboards stacked one on top of the other, it is not recommended because one board potentially could slide out from on top or beneath the other.

We do have several carriers specifically designed to carry two paddleboards stacked. Check out the Yakima SUPDawg, # Y04075. This SUP carrier lets you transport up to 2 stand-up paddleboards on your vehicle's roof.
