Availability of Extension for Curt # 56042 4-Pole Trailer Connector on 2009 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I installed the 56042 harness on my Highlander, seems a bit short in length...is there an extension 2 - 4 ft available ? Appreciate your assistance.

Hopkins offers a 48 inch long loop, part # HM47115 that would work for you. You'd simply install the # 56042, then plug the loop into the 4-pole which will provide a four foot extension. The loop includes some dielectric grease you can add to the connection to exclude moisture. I'd recommend wrapping the connection securely with electrical tape as well.
If you click the provided link, you can see other accessories available for your Highlander.
