How Is This Installed

Expert Reply:
Many vehicles designed for towing have a port located under the dash that you are able to use for installing a brake controller like the Curt Discovery Trailer Brake Controller, part # C84VV. There are adapters available for some vehicles and other vehicles will require hard wiring when installing.
I have attached a couple of helpful articles that explains brake controllers and their installation you can check out.
If you want to send me information about your vehicle like the year make and model I can make some recommendations about installation that will work for you.
