Question:
I read your expert advice. Then, how much money I expect to spend in all those parts and labor installation. Thank you for your time.

When you want to flat-tow your 2014 Ford Focus, there are 5 things you will need.
You will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting for the towed vehicle, and most states now require supplemental brake systems. Some of the items are fairly easy to install, but there may be some trimming or cutting required to install some of the components. I recommend having a certified mechanic complete the installation for you. This way you will know everything is set up properly.
The base plates I recommend are the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plates, part # RM-524430-5. The tow bar I recommend is the Roadmaster StowMaster, part # RM-501.
For safety cables I recommend part # RM-643.
If you do not plan on towing real often, I recommend the Roadmaster Magnetic Tow Lights, part # RM-2120. This does not interfere with your vehicle wiring. The lights are sent the signal from the connector that is installed on the towing vehicle 4-way or 7-way connector.
The supplemental brake system I recommend is the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400.
I have attached some helpful articles that explains flat-towing and also the other items needed you can check out.
