Adjustable Shank Needed For Weight Distribution System On 2015 Chevrolet Suburban
Question:
I currently have a Pro Eagle WD hitch. I recently purchased a 2015 Suburban and can not get my current hitch low enough for my Haulmark trailer. The gvw of the trailer is 7000lbs. The height of the ball is 19 1/2 . The top of my hitch is 25 . i am looking for a shank that I can use the rest of my wd sytem on. Would this shank be usable for me. Thanks for the info.

The Reese Replacement Head, part # RP58167 is designed to work with Reese systems that have trunnion bars. Since manufacturers do not test their components with other manufacturer's parts, I cannot guarantee this replacement head would work with your weight distribution system.
We do offer several WD shanks like part # 17120. The mounting holes on this shank are 1-1/4 inches apart center-to-center and this shank has a max rise of 9-1/4 inches or a max drop of 5-3/4 inches. I have also attached a link to our product pages for the shanks we offer.
If you measure the distance between the mounting holes on the head of your system, you may be able to find a shank that has the needed drop or rise that would work for you.
