Brake Controller Installation Instructions for 2006 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

Im installing a hitch, wiring and brake controller on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. I dont see install instructions for that vehicle, but assume there is one that best aligns with my truck. My components are: Prodigy 1-4 Brake Cntrlr, 7-way Deluxe Kit, T-one Wiring Harness and the Class III Hidden Hitch Reciever. The biggest concern is the brake controller installation. Thnx

We do not have any vehicle specific brake controller installation instructions for the Honda Ridgeline, but we do have an installation video. I will provide a link to the video below.

The video shows a different controller being installed, but the installation procedure for the Tekonsha Prodigy will be identical to that shown in the video.

In addition to the hitch and brake controller, you will need the Brake Controller Installation Kit, part ETBC7 (for a 7-way connector) or the ETBC6 (for a 6-way connector). You will also need the Tow Ready Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118400. The install kit contains everything necessary to complete your installation including wire, circuit breakers, zip ties and the trailer connector.
