Hitch, Sidewinder and Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 5-1/2 ft
Question:
I have a 2006 chevy Silverado,2wheel drive with 5foot 8 bed.bought 30 ft. dutcman and hitch.reese 16k,pro slider 30092,and base rail kit30095.will this work fo my truck.pin box number lipp1621. will I have to have a sidewinder pinbox,and what will I need. thanks

Since your truck bed is so short you are going to need to go with a Sidewinder so that your setup has the clearance to make tight turns. Since you have a Lippert 1621 pin box I can tell you exactly what Sidewinder you will need, part # RP34FR.
With a Sidewinder a sliding hitch is not needed, so instead of a slider you would want the # RP30047 stationary hitch and wedge kit # SWW-03.
The # RP30095 is a universal rail kit that would work, but for a better option I would recommend a custom install kit that will minimize drilling and will install in about half the time. For that you would want the # RP50064-58.
