Base Plates That Will Work With 1991 Honda Accord
Question:
I have a basic tow bar with adjustable arms that slide left/right from the ball hitch part. I need an attachment that has the two bars on each side of base plate that will fit my existing tow bar. Is this a problem?

We have 3 different base plates that are verified to fit your 1991 Honda Accord if it is not a Wagon.
They are The Roadmaster XL, part # 1526-1, the Roadmaster Classic, part # 1506-1, and the Blue Ox Base Plates, part # BX2212.
Of the three we have available, part # 1526-1 is the only one that has removable draw bars. These are compatible with Quick Disconnects and all Roadmaster tow bars.
You will want to check the tow bar you have to see if it is compatible with the Roadmaster base plates. There are some adapters available, but you will need to know the make and model of tow bar you currently have to see if we have a base plate adapter that is compatible.
I have attached a helpful article that has a base plate adapter table you can check out. I have also attached a helpful article that explains flat-towing you may want to take a look at.
