Adding a 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness to a 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo LT

Question:

On a 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo LT do you have a wire connector for the car that attaches to the trailer. Been told a wire needs to attached in the dash area, is that correct?

To add a trailer connector to the back of your 2007 Chevy Monte Carlo LT you will need to hardwire in a harness using # 18252. This harness comes with a circuit tester which you will use to determine the functions of the vehicle tail light wiring to install the 4-Way.

On the 4-Way, the white wire is ground and will attach to a clean bare metal surface. The yellow wire will connect to the vehicle's left turn and brake light wire. Brown will connect to the vehicle's running light/tail light wire, and the green wire will attach to the right turn signal/brake light wire.
