Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at these MAD-MOUNT Wall Mount Brackets. These mounting brackets from MAD-RAMPS are going to let you store your MAD-RAMPS pivoting ramp system on the wall of your garage or shop, and for your reference, on your screen, I am including the model number and a photo of the ramp system that these wall mount brackets are going to work with. And these brackets are going to let you save floor space by securing all three components of your MAD-RAMPS assembly up and out of the way. Now, the lower bracket is for the frame and the upper bracket is for the pivot cage assemblies, and on your screen, I am including a photo of what this is going to look like installed, along with your MAD-RAMPS system put into place there, so that gives you an idea of what this is going to look like as a finished product. And if you'll notice, the lower mounting plate has two individual hooks along with the MAD-RAMPS logo, and the upper mounting plate or bracket here has four individual hooks. And I do wanna point out that these brackets cannot be interchanged, so they must be mounted on your wall in this way, lower and upper.

And you are also going to receive two fasteners for each of these mounting brackets, and also, this Torx power bit. Now, these brackets are made here in the USA, and pulling out my tape measure here real quick, I'm just gonna go ahead and give you an overall length. As you can see, we're sitting at 36 inches long, and then the overall height, hopefully you can see this, we're sitting right at 2 1/2 inches tall. And these are equipped with pre-drilled holes, each of the brackets have these pre-drilled holes as you can see here, and that's going to accommodate wall framing on 16 inch and 24 inch centers. Now, these brackets must be secured into the wood-framed wall studs with the provided fasteners that come with this.

The use of drywall anchors or other fasteners are not acceptable, and it could potentially be a safety hazard, so these brackets are designed only for wood-framed walls and they should not be used on metal-framed walls. Instructions are included to walk you through the installation process.
