Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the inaudible 00:00:05 replacement side mirror. This is going to be a custom fit for the 2013 through 2016 Honda Accord Coupe. That's going to be your two door version but this is going to be a direct replacement for that so there's no cutting or drilling required to get this back installed. It's going to match with your factory mirror so it should look just like your old one.

Once it's in place, there shouldn't be any difference between the two. The cover is going to be made of a plastic housing and this can be painted to match your vehicle so if you want to, you can do that, you just want to make sure that you tape everything up and do a really careful job to make sure you don't get any over spray on the mirror face.It does come with new hardware to get this installed so we'll get these little flange nuts to get this in place. They just attach to the studs coming off the mirror so it should match right up with the original footprint of your factory mirror and it also plugs into your factory housing. Now, this does have the remote capable adjustment so inside our vehicle, we'll have that little adjustment to get the angle of our mirror correct. Be able to still utilize that with this, it just plugs it right in and then you're good to go.

If you're vehicle didn't already have the remote capability, if you didn't already have the little toggle on the inside of your Accord to adjust your mirror, this isn't going to upgrade you. There's nothing to plug this into if you didn't already have that function so that's something to keep in mind there. It does not have a turn signal so if your original mirror did, it's not going to give you that so that's one thing to keep in mind there. It does have a convex design, since this is for the passenger's side. That just helps to give us a little clearer field of view or a little wider field of view so we can see what's going on behind us in our blind spot so it's going to help to eliminate those blind spots as much as possible.It also has a brake away design, you can see that little crease there.

If we grab this, we can . Well, it's hard to do when it's not mounted onto your vehicle but it does snap, there we go, closed so that if you're on a narrower street or pulling into a narrow garage, you can flip that in towards your Accord and not have to worry about your mirror. Whenever you want to get back out on the road, flip that, snaps into place, and then you're good to go. Now, this is, again, the passenger side mirror.
