Replaces the tarp on your Extang BlackMax snap-on, roll-up, soft vinyl tonneau cover (EX2630). Black tarp fits over existing BlackMax hardware and bows to replace original cover.Fits as it should with minor concerns over quality.
1. The plastic reinforcement around the edges in one spot is cut so close to a snap I'm highly concerned about this being a failure point.
2. Different snap count across the back/tailgate bar than the original. After getting the front and sides snapped I noticed I had one extra slide snap left on the tailgate bar with no snap in the tarp indicating a different snap count than the original. While this may not affect anything in the long term purchasing the exact brand and original part number I expect the part to be exactly the same.
These issues cause a concern over quality control properly inspecting the tarps after manufacturing. The last tarp lasted over well 10 years before the stitching started to come undone but I dont hold high Hope's that this replacement part will last that long.
Will I purchase another? Yes the price is still cheaper than buying a tarp with a frame but will hesitate because of the concerns after seeing the quality of the replacement.
Product arrived quickly. We had to add snaps to cab side of the pre existing frame for this to work and the cover fit perfectly.

After having this tarp for about a year now I must say it has yet to fail in the spots I was worried about. It has stayed soft and pliable even in the northeast cold which is much better than the hard and stiff old one it replaced. It was so nice to be able to use the bed in the cold and be able to snap it all the way around. The tarp when ordered came quickly so no issues with the seller so a big thumbs up to them.
