Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the Bulldog winch winch mount plate. This is going to allow you to have a dedicated spot to mount your winch on your ATV so you don't have to worry about it being mounted to an awkward spot or looking out of place. Should be a really easy to get installed piece, and then gives you that secure mounting location for that winch we mounted on top. It doesn't come with a winch or the fairing lead to go in front of that, but we do have a lot of options here at etrailer.com. So if you don't already have one, you can find one here to go with this mount.Now, as far as what this is going to fit, it fits several of the Polaris ATVs, and I've got a list of those right here.
You can check that out and check it to make sure that you have one that's going to match with this. It's the older style of the Polaris, the early '00s into the '90s. So if you have one of those guys, this should be a good fit for you. It's going to go in the middle of the grill. It'll be located down in the center front of your ATV and give you that good mounting spot.
This plate is going to come separate, or it comes in two pieces. You'll have the main bracket and then the fairing lead. The winch plate is going to go here. You can adjust where this goes to match with how you want that configured. It does come with the hardware to attach this to your Polaris and to get everything mounted up.As far as the hardware to mount the fairing and all of that stuff, it's going to come with the fairing or with your winch.
That's the only other hardware that you should need to get this installed. It's going to be these two pieces, nice powder coating going all the way around on those brackets. Steel construction, so it's going to give you that nice sturdy location to mount up your winch. And again, several different attachment holes for getting that positioned as you want it. So again, these long brackets are just going to mount right in between that grill on the Polaris.As far as the overall size, it's about 15 inches wide from outside edge to outside edge, and then about eight inches deep and about nine inches tall.
With this mounted in place, it does add about an inch and a half to the front there, so it would make the overall depth nine and a half inches. And again, you can adjust that along those holes there to get that where you want it to be. That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the Bulldog winch custom fit winch mount.
