Simple bolt-on installation with included hardware.Bought these brackets to mount in conjunction with the Lund s.s. Bull bar with integrated light on my 2018 ram 3500. Only 1/4” plate steel cold bent with a small corner brace stitch welded to add rigidity. Moderate duty use only. One bracket was bent past 90 degrees and corner brace was just welded in regardless. All hardware is only cheap grade 2 steel with only a black oxide coating for the finish. Basically no rust prevention with that. Mfg suggest applying a paste wax for additional protection. I scrapped those and purchased all 316 s.s. Hardware which is equivalent to grade 5 strength.
Gave a 2 star rating only because the product did allow me to bolt on at least some sort of tow hooks in conjunction with my bull bar although installing and access for tightening the bolts was extremely difficult ! Very very limited access to the nuts on the backside of frame rail end caps for tightening hardware but this is a Ram design flaw. Typical “ jammed tight limited access modern designed vehicle”.
