Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

They are very sturdy and I expect them to last.
2020 RAM 3500 with OEM hitch.
My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour.
He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.
Significantly overpriced for what it is and on top of that it’s terrible quality!
They were installed on the truck for 2 weeks, and used once when they’ve already started to rust. Even if they were made of stainless steel it’s overpriced for what you get.
When I contacted etrailer about a warranty they directed me to TorkLift. At first they were just going to send me a can of paint to address the rust issue. After I threatened to leave a poor, but realistic review they sent me a replacement set.
I’d say to wholeheartedly avoid this product but the problem is there aren’t other options…. And they know it…. Which allows charge whatever they want.
Product was easy enough to install, works as designed, very happy. Shipping boxes continue to be an issue, not up to the job!
THESE TORKLIFT CAMPER TIEDOWNS ARE AMAZING ! MY CAMPER HAS NOT SHIFTED NOR HAVE THESE BRACKETS SHOWN ANY FATIGUE . I RECOMMAND GETTING THESE !
Feel strong and solid with the camper but already seeing some rust in places. Wish the aluminum had been in stock.
I verify that TLD3112 fit the 2024 Ram 3500 8 ft bed with class 5 hitch. Good instructions, very easy installation. Remember to have a torque wrench handy to finish up.
Good fit to my vehicle.
Fit perfectly and fast shipping !
Once I received the product, it took me about 2 hours to install. Was simple, and the instructions were easy to follow. Looks great on my Ram 3500.
Unable to install, all hardware lost in shipping, contacted Etrailer and they said they would send me replacement hardware, that was three or four days ago. I have not received any updates about the new parts or if thay have been shopped.

This was a no-drill installation on a 2020 Ram 3500 using factory bolt locations. If your truck has a Mopar retractable bumper step, it must be removed in order to install the driver side tie-down. In my application, carrying a Lance 650, the draw-bar extended out too far from the truck. I had to drill another hole in the draw-bar so that there was clearance for my TorkLift Fastguns to attach.
These are a no-drill installation on a 2020 Ram 3500, but NOT a simple task. A mounting plate must be sandwiched between the front leaf spring bolt and its mount, then torqued to a very high amount. During my attempt at installation, the spring mount expanded as I loosened the bolt (which required a high torque impact tool). I was afraid that the nut would come off the bolt before there was sufficient gap to insert the mounting plate. I did not have the access (or ability) to put things back together once that happened. In the end, I took the tie-down to a local truck shop who installed both sides in about an hour. In use, the tie-down is fairly discrete and works very well... just don't think that the installation will be as simple as the rear tie-downs.
I paired these with the front mounts and am totally pleased. Easy to install and simple to use. I would recommend these for any size camper, not just the juggernaut class ones. They keep your camper rock solid and not wallowing around like you see some of the bed-mounted brackets.
Fairly difficult to install, proper tools and a lift made it ok
Installed easily, had to remove fold out bumper step on my Ram as they occupy the same space and instructions say won't fit with step so knew that going in. Didn't want the bumper mount type so small sacrifice for a superior product.
Torklift mounts are easy to install and are the only mount that will fit on my 2019 Ram 3500 contrary to what Happijac might tell you. They install to the frame and are out of the way until I put the camper on. The frame extensions are easy to put on and secure the camper without the need to do additional drilling. I"m sold on this system
Better up front research for the installation instructions would have lead me to buy this at a local shop for installation. One issue with build of unit, one hole does line up which is requiring me to modify the bracket to fit, hole is off by half a hole size.
Installation has to two issues for the backyard mechanic 1) requires the loosening of the front bolt of the rear leaf spring and subsequent re-torquing to 320ftlbs something the average person does not have the capability to do 2) the install of the bolts through the leaf spring bracket requires small hands, long pliers and a lot of patience. Long story short I am forced to take my vehicle to a local shop to complete install. Rear tie down brackets were an easy install. Product looks to be stout and i am sure will function as advertised once installed completely.
Overall these things work great and are a much better solution than any other tie-down system. Installation wasn't overly difficult, but I did have to remove my factory bed step, so it would be nice if they had a solution to allow the factory bead step to coexist with the tie-downs.
I find the overall price a bit high for what is provided. I think a price of $400 for all four or $250 for two (either front or rear) would be much more reasonable.
This is the 2nd set of tie-downs I had. The 1st set was for a 2000 pound truck camper on a 3/4 ton I had for 13 years. Worked fine. It lost the antitrust paint but perfectly safe. After a year of frequent traveling, including a lot of bumpy field/forest roads, the 2nd set is for a 3300 pound 8-11 NL camper on a 1 ton Ram and holds the load as safely as the first.
Great tie downs, only took a few minutes to install, not kidding, zip the 3 existing bolts out, hold the tie down in place and zip the bolts back in, then add the supplied 4th bolt, done!
Best tie down out there. A little complicated on front drivers side but follow instructions and [online] instructions and you’ll be fine.
AWSOME I have an arctic fox 990 on a 2022 Dodge Ram and it is snug as a Bug
They fit just as described without any problems.
See my review for the front tie-downs.
