Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

Today in our 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, we'll be installing the TorkLift custom frame-mounted Tie-downs for the rear. Part #TLD3109. These tie-downs provide an attachment point at the rear of your truck for securing your bed-mounted camper. The frame mounted design ensures excellent handling, securing your camper's truck to the frame of the vehicle instead of the bed. Which distributes the weight to keep your camper from being too top heavy while driving down the road. As you see here, here's the driver's side components of your camper tie-downs.
You'll have the mounting bracket, your arm which you will secure your camper to, and the hardware that comes with the kit. As you see, there's only 1 bolt and block, 2 washers, a lock washer, and a nut. All the other attachment points we will be reusing hardware that's already on the truck. So, it's a really easy, simple installation. As you see here, on the passenger's side, we already have it installed. It's mounted to the frame nice, secure mounting locations.
Not going to go anywhere. You see the arm sticks out. It's adjustable. You have 2 options. Since this is a dually, we're going to probably use it on the farther out attachment point.
That way we can get our camper onto the arm. When you're not in use, just go ahead and just undo the pin and clip. Slide the arm out. While you're not hauling your camper down the road, it keeps it nice, tucked, up and underneath. You can't really see it underneath the vehicle which is a nice feature. When you're ready to tow your camper, go ahead and slide the arm in reinstall the pin and clip.
Secure your camper to the tie-down. You're ready to hit the road. To begin our install here on the driver's side, we'll go ahead and spray down the 4 attachment points that are already on the vehicle with some penetrating lubricant. As you see right here, we'll be using this attachment point, this one, this one, and this one. We will have to remove those bolts and then reinstall them with the bracket in-between the frame and the bumper bracket right here. So we'll go ahead and spray those down with some lubricant to get these broke loose and out. If you have a older vehicle, these may be a little tough. So, let that sit on there for a couple of minutes. And then these two, we will loosen so we can move this bracket around to get our camper tie-down bracket into place. So, we'll go ahead and spray these down with some spay lubricant also to help ease removal. First, we'll start with removing these 2 bolts. You use a 15mm socket. However, they recommend using a breaker bar to get them loose by hand first before you put a impact gun on it. We go ahead and save this hardware, as we will be reusing it. All right, we're going to go ahead and loosen up these two. You don't want to take the nuts completely off, but you want to have them pretty loose. And if the nut does come off, just thread it on hand tight. Now, go ahead and remove these two larger bolts. You'll be using 21mm socket for that. Now, for this one, there is a handle nut on the other side that this is attached to. The handle nut will probably spin around until it touches itself. Then, it will allow you to remove the bolt the rest of the way. Go ahead and save the handle nut because you will have to reinstall it. And you see this bracket is now loose Which is what you want because now, the camper tie down will actually go between these two. With it loose, it will be a lot easier to get your hardware into place. Back into those locations while holding the bracket up there. Now, go ahead and take our bracket here for the driver's side. Slide it up there in-between these 2 locations. I find it easier, since this location at the top is not being sandwiched in between here. If you'll go ahead and get that one started first, it'll hold your bracket up there in place as you get the other one's started. Now, we'll go ahead and install our other larger bolt. You'll want to move this bracket over a bit and get them lined up. Until you can get it pushed all the way through. And again, that will help hold everything into position also, while you get your other 2 lower bolts into place. Now, go ahead and take the smaller bolt here. You have to lift up the bracket up a little bit so you can get the holes lined up. Go ahead and reinstall our other bolt right here. Now that we have these 4 bolts in there hand tight, we'll go ahead and tighten them down a little bit. Which attaches the bracket to the frame. And for this one, as I said earlier, we had a handle nut. Go ahead and hold that into place. See they're threaded on. Watch out as one starts spinning, you don't want to get your hand caught in there. So once that catches against the hitch, go ahead and tighten that down. That'll put everything into place. Our final attachment point for our tie-downs will be right here. This oval hole lines up with the the hole in the actual bracket. That will get the 1/2" by 2" hex bolt and block that comes with the kit. That will get fed through there. Then on the inside, it'll get 2 flat washers, a lock washer, and a nut. So put our 2 flat washers into place, a lock washer, and our nut. Go ahead and get that hand tight. All right, now that we have all our hardware into place, we'll go ahead and tighten it down and torque it to the specifications as indicated in the instructions. And finally, we'll go ahead and tighten and torque this bolt here. Now that we have the bracket tightened and torqued, you'll see it's nice and secure to the frame. We can go ahead and take our arm. Slide it in position. We'll line up the holes. Take your pin and clip, slide it through and secure it. That's going to be nice secure mounting point for your camper in the bed of your truck. Now with our tie-down arms into our brackets, we're ready to load our camper up and hit the road. That will do it for the installation of the TorkLift custom frame-mounted mounted tie-downs for the rear. Part # TLD3109 on our 2008 Dodge Ram 3500.

Keep the camper in place and makes it so much easier.. I own a Dodge Ram Mega cab and they were an easy install, I cant speak to the other truck manufacturers.
The drivers rear didn't get built correctly. the hole to put the tie done is missing. I had to drill a hole into the tie down so I could use it. Didn't notice the problem until I went to put the camper on my pickup. The other three are fine.
Forklift tie downs are manufactured to exact fit to existing manufactured frame rail holes. They lined up perfectly and after 6000 miles with camper on board have stayed secure. The only downside, (this is relative to when and ware you use you camper) they will corrode when driving through snow covered roads that have been treated with sand and/or salt. I use an oil based product to protect them corroding.
Easy install, very effective way to keep the camper were it's supposed to be. Just bought a new truck and ordered another set for it. As long as I have a bed mounted camper I will be using this tie down system.
On my 2017 Ram 2500 HD, were easier to install than the front ones because you don't have to put that bolt inside the frame. There is a standoff for a wire on each side that had to be removed, and will need to be secured with a cable tie or something (see attached picture). I had to remove my Trekstep from the driver's side, but I knew I would have to do that, so no big deal. Again, these are very sturdy, thus very heavy, and lighter aluminum tie downs might be considered to reduce weight.
This products is well made. The transaction was easy and the product arrived as expected. I've been using this product for a year and I have no complaints. It has held up well and does what it was designed to do.
The rear mount arrived this morning, and I immediately went to installation,,,the only thing that could have made things easier would be, if I had a more powerful air wrench to take the bolts out,,,lol.
Looks great! The quality of your product is impressive! And, to think the dealer wanted to charge me $200 to put them on.
I see these as a permanent attachments to my truck,
Seem like a solid well built product. A bit of a pain to install and the instructions could have been more clear and the manual put together better but overall satisfied.
Install was easy work as advertised
Love the TorkLift Tie-Downs! They are rugged and make loading and unloading much easier than my old basic Tie-Downs.
TorkLift frame mounted tie downs, Torklift Fast Gun tie downs - AWESOME! Arrived Thursday as promised, picked the new Cirrus camper this morning. Installed the frame mounted tie downs - front and back - 1hour 45 minutes. Thank you etrailer!
Very stable easy to set up system
Easy to install and super secure! Made my Lance 1020 feel like its part of my truck. Highly recommended for the juggernaut class truck campers. I’ll never go back to the stake pocket style or bed mount tie downs again.

1 year later, Im still very pleased. Ive gotten many positive comments from people that didnt know they existed and, after talking to me, plan on upgrading themselves.
These camper tie downs have been fantastic! They were easy to install and have made securing my camper a breeze. I really like how easy it is to pull the tie down portion of the brackets out when you aren't carrying the camper. In my opinion this is the only way to secure a truck camper.

They were great. I ended up getting a different truck and bought another Torklift setup for the new truck. I couldn’t imagine using anything else for securing a truck camper.
The TorkLift frame mounted tiedowns for my truck bed camper mounted perfectly on my 2016 RAM 3500. They are holding my camper on very securely and will be tucked away nicely when I remove the camper for Winter. I plan on making a footstep to slide into the receivers then, so I have much easier access to my high truck bed when I use it to haul firewood. The only suggestion I have is that we cleaned up the punched out pin hole edges with a file, inside the receivers. The sharp ridges would have scratched the hold down assemblies a bit when inserted into the receivers. Maybe an opportunity for a manufacturing process improvement there?
Good service, haven't checked the packaging but everything looks OK from the outside.
They still work great after a year : )
These are very well made. They installed easily and fit perfectly. My only concern is that the tie down/turnbuckle attachment hole is slotted and looks potentially weak as a result. I don't know that it's weak, it just looks like making it without the slot would be a lot stronger.

After a year, these have worked out very well. The slotted holes I was concerned about have not been a problem.
Easy to install whole job front and rear just under 3 hours
The only Truck Camper tie down devices that I will ever use.
Perfect fit, Talked to Will on the phone and h got me the right set-up for my 2015 Dodge Ram 3500. Thanks Will.
Great camper mount. Easy install, fit and finish is awesome
Very pleased.easy install
I am really happy with tork lift rear tie downs on my 2004 3509 Dodge Ram dually. They have worked out good for me. I did have to move my rear camper tie downs so the tie down rods would clear the fenders but overall I am very happy with the tie downs.
