  • Can the Cover for a 20 Foot Long Pontoon Boat Be Used While the Boat Is Moored
  • I do have an option for you but all of our boat trailer covers are designed to be used with a boat on a trailer or in storage. That said, if you are able to find a way to secure the straps for the cover to the boat while in the water then I do not see any other reason as to why they would not work in this application as well. In order to make sure we get you the correct cover I would need to know the widest point of your pontoon boat. If it does not exceed 96" then you can use the Classic...

  • Boat Cover Recommendation for a 2009 Hurricane 202
  • We have spoken with our contacts at Classic Accessories about fitting their covers to deckboats like your 2009 Hurricane 202 OB deck boat and they have stated that they will fit. So for yours that is right at 20 feet you would want the part # 052963889581. A breathable fabric wouldn't be waterproof so this would not be considered breathable but it is mildew resistant. That is why we don't offer a breathable solution.

  • Using Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 with PullRite 5th Wheel Hitch
  • Yes, the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 referenced in your question is compatible with your PullRite 2700 as long as you use the correct capture plate. We do not currently carry PullRite products but according to my research the correct capture plate is the part 331758, which you can obtain from PullRite directly.

  • American Made Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation with Great Jaw Design
  • Not all fifth wheel jaws are created equal. Some are designed to be lower priced but they will allow quite a bit more noise and "chucking", others are much nicer and will provide a much smoother ride quality. You should note that slider hitches in general have more moving parts so they make more noise/have more movement. Just going to a stationary hitch will make an improvement. For an American made fifth wheel hitch with an excellent jaw design we have the B and W Patriot # BWRVK3200...

  • How to Prevent SportRack Kayak Carrier From Rotating on 2019 Infiniti QX50 Round Crossbars
  • I have 2 different solutions to keep your SportRack Kayak Roof Rack SR5511 from rotating on top of your 2019 Infiniti QX50. The "free" solution is to remove the foam tubing on your round crossbars and put rubber around them instead. Rubber has more grip than foam and should help keep your kayak carrier more stable. The better solution is to replace your round crossbars with the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 instead. This gives you aero-style crossbars that will prevent your SportRack...

  • Using a Slider or Sidewinder to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a 2010 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
  • You have 2 options for being able to make 90 degree turns with a short bed truck towing a 5th wheel trailer. First you could use a slider hitch. The most travel you can get in a slider is 12 inches. You will have to get in and out of the truck several times to go from the towing position to maneuver position. Its great exercise in tight places! The other option is to use a Sidewinder which moves the pivot point back 22 inches. To determine the best option for you there are a few things...

  • How to Determine Tires and Wheels for Pontoon Boat Trailer
  • I'll do my best to give you a hand to get you some really good tires and wheels for your pontoon boat trailer, though there are some specifics that are needed in regards to size in order to ensure you get the right parts. Let's start with tires, and to determine the correct tires you do need to know the size. This information should be on the sidewall of the tires; for example you may see 145/80-12 or 175/80-13 printed right on the sidewall. The next thing that you need to know is the...
