  • Tips For Removing Padlock Pin On Trimax Heavy Duty Wheel Lock TMX42ZR That Is Stuck
  • If the Trimax Heavy Duty Wheel Lock # TMX42ZR has been sitting outside for a long time, take some penetrating oil and spray quite a bit on the pin. Chances are the pin and lock have slightly corroded together over time. I'd spray it down a few times to make sure the oil gets inside the lock, and you may need to use a dead blow or rubber mallet to hit the lock to get the corrosion to break up the rest of the way.

  • Can't Remove Broken Key fro Thule Cargo Box. What Now?
  • Thule unfortunately doesn't offer the cylinder or sleeve the lock core sits in as a replacement part. If the cylinder hasn't been damaged, there's a chance a locksmith could carefully drill the lock core out, because if that cylinder is damaged, there's not much that can be done other than using a couple of padlocks, hasps # H135-203E and # H115-204E staples to secure the box. It isn't a pretty solution, but it's less expensive than a new Thule cargo box.

  • Reese 5th Wheel Hitch Will Not Release Trailer King Pin on Sunnybrook 5th Wheel Trailer
  • In general unhitching your 5th wheel trailer will be easiest when the truck and trailer are on level ground and with the hitch's slide bar and jaw well lubricated. You'll also want to be sure that if you have a padlock on the slide bar for securing your trailer that you unlock and remove this first. You can also rock the truck slightly forward and backward to find the position that will place the least tension on the jaw; this will give it the best chance to release easily. Once you unhitch...
