You will want the Yakima roof rack on your 2016 Toyota Avalon as level as possible, but due to the different strength points on a roof and the differing heights of the towers it isn't uncommon for crossbars to be a little out of level with each other. I recommend starting with the vehicle side connector on your Chrysler Pacifica. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the functions of the connector, specifically the right turn/brake location. If you find that there is no power at that location when using that function in the vehicle, then the cause is most likely a blown or missing fuse in the power distribution box under the hood. For starters, check the T-connectors and make sure they are fully plugged in until they click.
Secondly, test the 4-pole using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. Turn on the vehicle headlights and test the pin on the 4-pole that is fed by the brown wire. If you get voltage on that pin, you have ruled out the vehicle as being the problem.
