It will also be hard to pull if there is tension on the jack. Jiggling the leg while pulling on the pin at the same time will help.

- I spoke to my contact at Curt and he said that the reason you remove the nut of the module and enlarge the hole is so that it can be moved out of the way to allow the hitch part # C11400 to fit.
I attached a picture that points out the correct nut that you would need to remove to allow the module to be moved so that you can access the hole to enlarge it. You should note that you won't be removing the module. Just loosening the nut so that you can move it out of the way.
