If a fault is showing only on the left front jack of your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590 even after switching the left and right jacks and resetting the system, then you'll want to check the corresponding connector and fuse on the control module. I'm really sorry to hear about the mishaps on your brand new trailer! When reading through your descriptions the first thing that comes to my mind is the possibility that there's an exposed wire somewhere along the trailer that's making contact with the frame. This is essentially powering the frame so that when you attach the ground cable it's creating those sparks (which is not normal).

If the brake fluid that came out when bleeding the brakes after a disc brake conversion # HSE7K-TR1 came out discolored then there's a contaminant or water in the lines somewhere. Ok for hydraulic jacks that have a mind of their own you will need to do a bypass test first.
Retract jack in question. If retracting hydraulic landing gear, HLG, both jacks will retract. If retracting leveling jack, all jacks will retract.
Once jack is fully retracted, remove the extend hose (hose located at the top of the jack). If testing
ROAD SIDE HLG or REAR STAB JACKS, the hose will be mounted to a red restricted flow valve block.

I spoke with Furrion and found that this is a known issue with the wiring on the side marker cameras # FCE48TASL. A lot of people have been installing the trigger wire in with the power wire instead of running it to the turn signal or just capping it off. I checked with the manufacturer and the tiny screw you're seeing is a set screw. You will use an Allen wrench/key to remove this. I'm attaching a picture with a set of installation instructions for you to refer to when you're replacing the MaxxFan Lift Motor # MA10-20270 . Since this is a brand new jack you shouldn't be experiencing problems. I spoke with my contact at Lippert who said he hasn't heard of this being a very common issue and your best bet is a bad ground or a new switch. The shore power circuit for your trailer should not have anything to do with the trailer's brakes as they are on completely different circuits and use an entirely different type of current (AC vs. DC).
