I went out into our warehouse to pull a # 11601 and found that to install this CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, part # 11601, you must first insert the included contoured wedge into the inside of the towing mirror. This wedge is contoured to the back of the existing mirror on your 2002 Ford F-150.
Next, you will slip the towing mirror over your existing mirror, and then you will tighten the included screw knob through the raised hole on the back of the towing mirror and tighten securely.

On the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, # 10802, you will attach the felt pad with the adhesive on one side, to the wedge. Then, the wedge is installed in the towing mirror by inserting the ends of the wedge into the slots on the inside of the mirror. Now you can slide the bottom edge of the towing mirror on the factory mirror and snap the top edge in place.
