I looked up an online version of the owner's manual for a 2012 Kia Sorento and I found that it can be towed with a tow dolly with the front wheels off the ground only if it is the automatic transmission 2WD version. A 4WD Sorento needs to be towed with all 4 wheels off the ground. I found this on page 6-16, but you will want to check your own copy to make sure and for any special instructions.

It fits naked roofs, raised rails, and roofs with crossbars, but does not fit with flush rails as the mounting hardware of the bag would have to fit over the flush rails to the vehicle which would pull it up slightly.
