The big difference between the two Tekonsha trailer wiring harnesses that fit your 2019 Honda Odyssey is how they draw power to activate the trailer lights. The # 118753 has a wire that runs up to the vehicle battery which is used to power all of the trailer lights directly from the battery. The towing capacities and functions are identical and are based more off of your vans capabilities than either hitch's strength. The benefit you get with going with the etrailer hitch is its limited lifetime warranty that protects you from defects for the entire time you own the hitch receiver.

The Curt wiring harness # C56161 and the Tow Ready wiring harness # 118438 for the 2008 Honda Odyssey install the same way. Both install behind in a junction box located in the cargo area of the van. This is an ideal setup because it uses the factory location on the vehicle.

You are correct that there are definite advantages of hitch cargo carriers over roof cargo carriers. You will have less drag improving your gas mileage and you won't have to reach up to the roof of your vehicle each time you load or unload. The difference between the Titan Chain Tire Chains # TC1555 and the Titan Chains # TC2319 is only in the application. The # TC1555 chains will fit 15 inch to 20 inch tirese, whereas the # TC2319 will fit 15 inch to 18 inch tires. So the # TC155 chains allow greater adjustability to fit larger tires.
