Actually, there's a little more to it than that.
The magnets on the # K23-478-479 are a little different, but the primary difference is the mounting bolt pattern. On a typical 3500 lb brake assembly, the mounting studs will all be 2-7/8 inches apart on center. On the # K23-478-479 4400 lb brake assembly, the top studs are 2-7/8 inches apart, but the bottom ones are spaced a bit further apart to prevent a 3500K brake assembly from being used on a 4400K axle. view full answer...
Although we don't carry either of these and my knowledge on Transeagle is limited, I would choose the Goodyear for their known quality. There is really no reason to go with a load range G 14 ply tire when the load range E 10 ply tire has more than enough capacity. It is hard to say if it would result in a bouncy ride being overrated like those are but it is possible. I would check the speed rating on the tires as well.
