The wiring adapters you are talking about are for vehicles with the factory tow port. Since you do not have the tow package on your 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, you will need to use a universal wiring harness. In order to install the Curt Echo Under-Dash Trailer Brake Controller # C27JR you will need the # C51515.
