- If you look at the stock cooler of your 2006 GMC Yukon with a 4L65E the line that is on the top is the return line and the bottom is the feed line.
You would want to route the fluid from the factory cooler to the supplemental cooler and then back to the transmission. So install the supplemental cooler on the return line.

- That's odd...when I run your vehicle through our fitguide, I find that Curt does't offer a Class V hitch for your vehicle. I have confirmed that the # C15302 is listed as a fit for the 2500 Sierra/Silverado but not the Yukon.
Draw-Tite offers a Class V, part # DT45515 which is what I'd recommend. With a 12K GTW/1200TW or 14K GTW/1700lbTW with weight distribution, it'll have plenty of capacity.

- You can still get the box up on your Yukon but you'll have to do a little bit of customizing in order to adapt an alternative install kit. I checked with my contact at Yakima about hardware options for mounting your 2002 Rocketbox on your 2014 Yukon. Unfortunately in the case of your 2002 Rocketbox Yakima is completely out of their hardware kits. Since the box is now out of warranty you lose no warranty coverage by modifying it slightly.
A cost-effective option is to use replacement hardware...
