Which Line of Transmission Cooler on 2006 GMC Yukon is Return Line

Question:

06 Yukon denali 6.0 4L65E what side of factory trans cooler is the return line going back to transmission I believe its on the drivers side of the factory trans cooler..correct ..looking at truck standing in front of truck trans fluid enters on passenger side tru stock cooler out on drivers side back to transmission is the correct return line on drivers side back to trans after cooled thru trans cooler ??? plz let me know if this is correct thanks

If you look at the stock cooler of your 2006 GMC Yukon with a 4L65E the line that is on the top is the return line and the bottom is the feed line.

You would want to route the fluid from the factory cooler to the supplemental cooler and then back to the transmission. So install the supplemental cooler on the return line.
