I spoke with my contact at Curt, who tells me that the reason that the # C56340 isn't shown as being a fit for the 2005 Buick Allure is that the wiring harness was never tested on the vehicle. Because of this, Curt won't call it a fit.
If the only difference between the two vehicles is the nameplate, then the harness should fit. However, because Curt can't confirm the fit, we can't guarantee you the harness will work.

Peak does not offer a larger monitor component for use with their Digital Wireless Backup Camera PKC0RB but there are other camera systems that offer the ability to use a Smartphone as the display, such as Rear View Safety WiFi Hitch Backup Camera # RVS-83112-WIFI, or that have a larger included monitor than the 3-1/2-inch unit in the Peak system.

I do have a solution for you, however, I would not recommend the Blue Ox Bolt-On Base Plate, # BX88230. Although the this Blue Ox base plate is an universal fit and more cost efficient than the vehicle specific base plates, the labor time and cost that will be associated with installation will in the end not save you as much as you may think.
