Hey Jay, yes a 13.5k BTU AC unit like the Advent Air part # ASA89YR can be powered off a generator as long as it was powerful enough. Campers do this quite often actually. For most AC units you want to go with a generator that can provide up to 1,600 watts running for only running an AC unit like what you mentioned. The A-iPower 5,000-Watt Portable Generator # 289-AP5000 would easily cover that and have wattage to spare for running other accessories at same time so it would work great for you. view full answer...
Hey Jan, to locate the Torklift Generator carrier part # TLA7752 off-center in front of only one of the doors would require finding a welder/fabricator in your area who could add an additional hitch opening off to the side. This is such a rare request there isn't a product available for this specific application. view full answer...
Hey Kelly, yes the etrailer generator part # 333-0005 would be able to supply enough power for your two slide outs on your travel trailer that has a 30 amp plug. view full answer...
Hey Libby, so a 18k btu AC unit is going to need right at 1,900 watts running and 3,700 watts startup. Most CPAP machines draw between 30 and 60 watts and the TV is most likely right at 68 but it wouldn't hurt to verify. So 2,000 running watts 4,000 starting is going to be about right for you.
So the Champion generator part # CH44FR would be a great choice. It has an inverter for clean power so your TV and CPAP will work well and it can be ran on propane or gas. view full answer...
Hey Darryl,
If you're referring to the Firman W03383 then it does have a battery and an electric start. You'll just need to press and hold the switch (part 1) in the “START” position, the engine will crank and attempt to start. When the engine starts, release the switch to the “RUN” position. view full answer...
Hey Neil; thanks for the question and there is one generic/universal wiring harness you can use with your Toyota GR86, which is the following:
- ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 119250KIT
This harness uses clamp-on sensors so you don't even need to splice into its wires. view full answer...
Hi Paulette; the answer is yes, you can use a 130-watt portable solar panel such as the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller # 34282730.
This will output a max of 6.74 amps, and be a nice way to charge your batteries, though I do have to say that batteries won't run an air conditioner. They utilize just too much power, so for an AC unit on your camper you would definitely need a generator like the Champion 4,500-Watt Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator # CH44FR.
This... view full answer...
Hey Pat, in some cases slider hitches won't work properly if the rails they are installed in aren't perfectly parallel. You might measure the distance between the rails to see if it matches on both sides. If a rail somehow got bent or damaged this could cause this as well.
Without knowing the actual hitch you are using, I can only give you general info. Sometimes with this issue it is because you are taking too much weight off the hitch. The hitch needs a certain amount of weight on it... view full answer...
There are some companies working on AC units that have this built in but they haven't been released at this time and I don't know when they will finish development. What you can do is add the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR. This works with any AC unit and reduces the power needed to start so you can get by with something like a small generator. view full answer...
Hey Dave, so the inner arms of the etrailer XHD tow bar part # e67ZR only can lock in the out position and not in the in position. In general the inner arms aren't going to extend out by themselves and if they did they wouldn't be wider than your tow vehicle so you wouldn't need to worry about them extending out wider. view full answer...
Mike, as long as your tonneau cover rails don't sit super high above the bed rails the Reese Goosebox # RP94716-61301 will work fine. We also have the 1" High Rise Ball # BWGNXA2050 which can get you a bit more clearance should you need it. view full answer...
Hi Quille,
Manufacturers unfortunately don't have a list of their parts so you'll need to remove the wheel and take a look at the calipers to see if there's a part number stamped into them. Brake pads are pretty generic though so you can typically mix brands. For 3,500lb to 6,000lb axle capacities you can use the DeeMaxx Ceramic Brake Pads with Steel Back Plates # DE38VR.
If you find a part number then let me know and I'd can confirm fitment. view full answer...
Yes, the Safe-T-Lube hubs and axles will generally use the same parts as the Dexter EZ Lube axles. I see that you were looking at the Replacement Spindle Washer # 5-101. This can definitely be used on a Safe-T-Lube axle. If you are needing other parts, we do want to make sure they are appropriately sized for your axle or hubs.
Are there any other parts you are looking to replace? If so, let me know what you need to I am happy to point you in the right direction and confirm fitment. view full answer...
Hello Bill. Looking thru all of the manufacturer's literature on this Klauber K012850300 motor, they do not list a specific strength for the sheer pin. Replacement parts are generally just linked to the motor assembly itself and those kind of specs can be hard to find, if they even exist at all. That said, we unfortunately do not carry a replacement pin for your klauber motor, so I suggest that you try contacting the manufacturer (Lippert Components) to see if they can offer you anything. view full answer...
To connect two propane tanks to the MB Sturgis High Capacity Two-Stage Auto Changeover Regulator item # 888001-MBS you will want to use the GasStop Emergency Propane Shut-Off Valve Gauges w/ GasGear 18" Propane Hoses item # GS99FR. These hoses have automatic shut off valves and pressure regulators built into them. They also have a 90 degree bend that will make connecting them easier.
To purchase all of these parts in one kit you'll want the GasStop Emergency Propane Shut-Off Gauges... view full answer...
Hello Jeffrey. It is possible to use a solar panel to help power your AC unit. The solar panels would serve the purpose of recharging your batteries, and are not used to directly power an AC unit. You would have to have a very large solar panel, along with clear sunny skies in order to generate enough power to run a 13,500 btu AC unit. To properly provide power to your AC you would need an AC/Dc panel like part # PD4045KA, a battery bank (preferably deep cycle), a large solar panel kit... view full answer...
Hello Greg. Generally, yes, shackles are required for any single axle utility trailer. The diagram below will show you the components of a typical single axle setup. You will have shackles on the rear hangers only. This is because as your axle hits bumps in the road it not only gets pushed up, but also back. With the shackle in the back you will have the best ride quality and suspension travel. Without shackles the suspension would likely be quite rough.
The shackles should not be flattening... view full answer...
Generally, you don't need additional lighting when using a tow dolly that already has lights. However, it's not a bad idea to check with the local laws in the states you'll be traveling in. If you do need to have lights on the vehicle you could use the magnetic LED tow light kit part # TLL21RK and to add a 4-way to your tow vehicle's wiring you would want the part # 18252 which would wire into the current trailer wiring. view full answer...

Hello Kevin. The # AKEBRK-7-SA brake assemblies will indeed work on your AL-KO 7210 axles. These axles use the standard 12" x 2" brake shoes and they bolt on to the standard 5 bolt brake flange. If you need new mounting hardware it will be part # BRKH12.
As far as the hub/drum, the # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K will likely be exactly what you will need. The 7K axles generally use standard sizing as well. I do suggest that you remove one of your hubs and unpack the bearings to confirm the sizing... view full answer...
