The 25 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A25W2GWB you found is going to have the 3 wires which run down each side of the trailer. One wire on each side is going to be a ground wire(white), the 2nd wire(brown) is going to be for the running lights and side marker/clearance lights and the 3rd wire(green or yellow) is going to be for the turn signal/brake lights for each side of the trailer. Sounds like your boat trailer has two wires ran to each circuit on your current 4-way which isn't uncommon. Basically one wire is ran to each side of the trailer wiring so what you would need to do is run the matching circuits from both sides of the trailer wiring to the single wire of a 4-way like the part # 002402. This is a very common way to handle the setup you have now and it will work great. view full answer...
There isn't a trailer wiring harness so you can take off your panels and plug in, you are going to have to hardwire a universal harness into your 2020 Lincoln Corsair. For that use the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. view full answer...
Hey Doug, so we don't have a trailer brake wiring kit but we do have the correct wire gauge for trailer brakes with the part # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot and 10 gauge. I attached a picture that shows how tandem axle brakes get wire up for you to check out as well. view full answer...
You'd need to use a 4-way kit like the # 18252 wired to the trailer wiring of the first trails so that you'd have one available for the second trailer. view full answer...
Hey Diego, it's likely your 2017 Nissan Armada doesn't have trailer wiring but we can help as we have the Hopkins part # N40975 which was designed for the versions of your vehicle that did not come with trailer wiring. view full answer...
Thanks for reaching out Britt, replacing things frequently is really frustrating, especially if it's completely rewiring your trailer.
The Optronics 25 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness # A25W2GWB has really great quality and will last you a long time - they also back this up with a 3-Year Warranty if that brings you any comfort.
The Optronics wiring is made overseas but they produce a lot of different wiring and lights options for trailers and we hardly ever receive any bad feedback from them. view full answer...
Yes, there is but you'll need an additional part. You will need the Curt item # C56336 4-way you referenced but you'll also want the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket.
This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it. You will then connect the blue wire to... view full answer...
Thanks for reaching out, Erik!
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118791 will potentially work, but we've received feedback that the connectors don't always match up with the tail lights so I recommend using the Curt Universal Wiring Harness # C59236 instead.
The Curt wiring will need to be spliced into your vehicle wiring so you will need to test and figure out what wires carry which functions. If this isn't something you're comfortable doing I've gone ahead and linked out installer... view full answer...
Hey Neil; thanks for the question and there is one generic/universal wiring harness you can use with your Toyota GR86, which is the following:
- ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 119250KIT
This harness uses clamp-on sensors so you don't even need to splice into its wires. view full answer...
Hi Richard,
For a 2024 Mazda CX-5 you'll need the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # C59496. This wiring kit will splice into your tail light wiring and require you to run a power wire to the battery to prevent pulling power from the tail lights and dimming them. view full answer...
Hey Noah,
Are you replacing the wiring on your vehicle or the wiring on the trailer? If you want to email me separately with some pictures of what you're trying to replace I'd be happy to help find the correct parts and walk you through the installation. view full answer...
The Breakaway Switch # HM20060 also needs a Battery # HM20008 to get power from to activate the brakes. If you do not have a box to store and protect the battery you will also want that and a Charger # 20011 to connect everything together. I have linked our help article on trailer breakaway setup near the bottom of the page for you to reference to ensure you get everything wired correctly. Most importantly remember to wire for wire function and not color as not all trailer manufacturers... view full answer...
Hey Carly, for your 2018 Audi SQ5 the only trailer wiring option we have is a universal install type with the ZCI kit part # 119250KIT which does not require any programming from an Audi dealer to be functional. view full answer...
Hey Matt,
If you're referring to the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 118558 then you shouldn't have any leftover fuses or relays. The relays need to be installed on the wire harness and the 30 amp FMX/JCASE fuse needs to be installed in the secondary engine compartment fuse box in fuse port 3 (trailer main). Without the fuses and relays installed the trailer connector will have no power.

The Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036 will plug into a 4-way flat vehicle side connector. If you do not already have one of these on your vehicle please let me know what vehicle you have and I can see if there is a kit to plug into your wiring harness or if you need to splice into the wiring. For the additional blue wire, that will need to be spliced into the reverse wire as there is not a connection on your vehicle. If you have a 7-way or there is a plug and play... view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit # C96JR will also connect with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118786 on your 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL. These all use the same style factory connectors so they will plug in line of each other. If you have any additional lighting connected to the trailer connector on your Wrangler you will need to ensure you connect the Curt harness to the factory harness and then the Tekonsha trailer wiring into it then the tail lights so they get the power needed... view full answer...
Hey Mark, thanks for reaching out!
There aren't any specific custom wiring kits for your 2024 Ineos Granadeer so you'll need to install a universal wiring kit. I recommend the Universal Wiring Harness w/ ModuLite and Brake Controller Harness # 22551 because it comes with everything you need for a fully-functioning 7-Way, including the wiring for a brake controller.
This kit will need to splice in to your factory wiring so you'll want to be pretty careful when wiring this in to your vehicle... view full answer...
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C76CR will fit your 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE. This will give you a 4-way flat trailer connector which is the most common connector for small trailers.
