I checked directly with BedSlide for you, and that part is for 2017-2019 model year Ford F-150's and not the 2022 Ford F-250 with a 6'9" bed. Generally yes, for a truck bed under 8 feet long like on your 2021 Ram 2500 you do need a sliding 5th wheel hitch. That said, there are 5th wheel trailers that have a tapered nose designed to allow the use of fixed 5th wheel hitches as they won't contact the cab on right turns, so if that's the type of trailer you have, then a sliding hitch isn't needed.

Hey Scott, to place the rear rail of the Demco fifth wheel rail kit part # DM39FR in the bed of your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed you will measure 32-1/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the center of the rear rail. Hey Anthony, we do have an option to use a Demco Hijacker autoslide in the bed of your 2024 Ford F-350 crew cab but since it does not have the OEM pucks you wouldn't be able to use the # DM8550024 as that's only version this can fit.

Steve, it really depends on the size of bed that you have with your 2024 Ram 2500. If you have a 6 1/2 foot bed with the OEM prep package, then part # BWRVK3670 would be the best option. Sliding hitches are what are needed for 6 1/2 inch beds to make turns with out hitting the back of the cab. It has to be the latching mechanism in the slider that isn't locking in place for some reason. It's probably due to lack of lubrication or something broke so I would recommend spraying some lube onto the moving parts to see if that helps but otherwise it would need to be replaced. I would need to know which slider you have though.

Sometimes on older trucks we get issues with major rust in some areas, but the slightly misshaped hole shouldn't pose any issue. We have had some instances where the customer needed to run a drill bit through the hole a couple times to complete the circle or make it more round, so you may need to do that. Yes, the Cut Q25 fifth wheel hitch part # C16049 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the OEM pucks of your 2023 Ram 2500 short bed. While this says its' for the long bed truck it would fit just fine in a short bed truck as well.

Hey Chris, the release lever for the HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar part # HE4016-4017 is on the outer tube on the end of it opposite of the pad that touches the truck bed so its distance from outside of the truck bed will be based on how wide the bed is. If it's a narrower bed (closer to 59 inches) you'd be able to reach it pretty easy. But if it's a wider bed it would be closer to the middle of the bed an harder to reach.

Hi Jim, so in our experience with the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack # TH93VR the bike will be stable with very little movement. You may a small bit of movement of the front tire when going over bumps but nothing severe at all. You could add some stabilizer straps like part # SA3033 to help keep the tires in line with the frame at all times.
