The only thing I can think of that the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11141195 might be doing to cause the fuel pump to no longer work on your 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon is that it might be pulling some power and you have a weak battery that isn't able to give power to the tail lights with this harness installed as well as run your fuel pump.
Your fuel pump shouldn't be tied to the tail light circuits at all so I'm honestly... view full answer...
