Both the Draw-Tite # 76226 and the Curt # C13316 are fits for the 2015 BMW X3. Both hitches are pretty much on par as far as quality goes. The Draw-Tite does have a higher tongue weight and towing capacity as you mentioned, but you'd be limited to the 3500/350 lb rating of the vehicle, so the difference in capacity is pretty much a moot point, as the capacity of the vehicle will always take precedence. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13316 is a great option for a 2014 BMW X3. The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # SH27VR is another great option as well. The latter kit comes with a fuse holder, circuit tester, and 4-way trailer connector whereas the other does not.

The real benefits that you get from the Thule Doubletrack Pro XT # TH92BJ is that it weighs 32 lbs, it is made right here in the USA, and the trays are a little more customizable since they are on their own "tracks".
