The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13016 is only a confirmed fit for a 1978 - 1996 Chevrolet Van which excludes conversion models. The reason for this is because the conversion van models do not have the mounting hole for the bumper which is the front facing hole on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver closest to the receiver tube opening. There may have be a converter panel/charger that was installed in the trailer that was used to charge the battery and provide the power source for the AC lights etc. I'm surprised it was removed from the trailer but for a replacement you could use the # PD4135K.

Curt front-mount hitch # C31016 is specified to fit certain GMC and Chevrolet vans and RV cutaways but not until the 1996 model year. I show no custom-fit front-mount hitches for this vehicle, only rear-mount hitches from Draw-Tite, # 75121 and # 41121 for vans without the step bumper.
I also checked directly with Curt and Draw-Tite and neither shows any front hitch fits. My Curt contact suggested a universal-fit RV-type hitch as a possible work-around.

The Ventline vent # V2110SP-24 cannot be fitted with a fan but we do have a host of roof vents that do have fans built in that you could use. I have included a link to them for you. I would actually go with vent with fan # VP-543SP since it has a smaller footprint and would require a smaller hole in the roof. The best trailer hitch option we have for a 1968 Chevrolet Van is the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 41991-16. The reason that this is the best is because the width can be adjusted to fit a wide range of frames and the tall brackets allow you to clear the bumper and choose you receiver tube height. In regards to modifications, you will need to drill into the frame but this is going to be unavoidable to install a trailer hitch.
